Annual General Meeting - Thursday, May 24, 2012, 7:00 p.m. at the Headingley Community Centre, 5353 Portage Avenue.  There are several positions that volunteers are needed for:  Vice-President, Treasurer, and Softball Convener!  Our programs cannot run without volunteers!!

Our Board is always working hard to bring you information and also organize recreation and social activities here in Headingley! Please check the the website often to see listings of local sporting and social events. I am extremely grateful for the time and effort that our members put in to ensure that the families of Headingley have great recreation, sports and social activities that help to create a sense of community. Most of all, I would like to thank all the volunteers, The R.M. of Headingley and corporate sponsors as, without thier generous support, we would not be able to run the programs we do here in Headingley.
 
Volunteering on a board such as the Phoenix Recreation Association is a very gratifying experience not to mention lots of fun. As with all volunteer organizations, the organization is only as good as the volunteers. If you would like to join us as a Board member or assist with any of our events, please contact me or any Board member.
